Gillaine Maxwell Charged With Sexual Abuse
Gillaine Maxwell was charged with four counts related to procuring and transporting minors for illegal sex acts. FBI found a copy of Brad Edward's book, Relentless Pursuit on her nightstand. The victims' lawyers were raring to go in court as they had 100 boxes of incriminating material against their client. On the 29th of December, Gillaine Maxwell was convicted by the jury and found guilty on five counts,. One of sex trafficking a minor, one of transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three conspiracy to commit co-ate felonies. She faced 65 years in prison but was sentenced to just 20.
