Brennan: My mom died of sudden cardiac death just a few months after her successful coronary angioplasty. That really drove home to me that there was something fundamentally wrong with expecting people to get heart health from a procedure lab or hospital. He says conventional answers like stat and drugs and cut your fat had virtually no impact whatsoever. Brennan: So I set out to find better answers.
