What Are the Challenges for Schools to Bring Online Degrees?
Many schools don't even have an LMS. That's part of this digital divide is for schools that aren't really plugged into the infrastructure. University of Michigan has a fully dedicated team on campus that teaches professors how to do this. And so they're in pretty good shape. But generally when I think about what do schools need to be thinking about, I think along five dimensions,. One is their catalog. So which courses do universities want to bring online? The benefit is that the mass of uncertainty as to whether or not campuses will open up and partially open up.
