One third of menière patients have a congenital malformation of the vestibular Aqueduct which is a little canal where inner ear fluid recycling happens. The phenotype of patients with that that hypoplastic Aqueduct is interesting because there's much more likely to affect both ears and lead to binaural vertigo attacks. People who have that their menière symptoms usually start in their 20s or 30s not in their 50s So Where we've had this dumpster full ofMenière patients, we're beginning to Find that we can lift subgroups into smaller groups by other Clinical features.
