Vladimir Putin's Refusal to Allow the Russians to Withdraw From Kearson City

There's been a lot of reports that Vladimir Putin has actually been advised to approve a retreat from Kearson City. That he is obviously not approved because it doesn't fit with the political objectives as he sees them. He may put them in a position where if the Ukrainian military breaks too and gets close enough around the city of Kearson, they won't need to conduct a bloody urban battle. They will be able to pull up enough artillery to make it impossible to resupply the Russian military. And at that point, it'll be impossible for the Russian military to retreat because they're up against a very large river.
