"I have a hard time believing that almost anybody's buying what he's selling," Samira Wiley says of Russian President Vladimir Putin. "The disinformation and misinformation, it's reached a really crazy level where pretty much all levels of all aspects of our media are are doing it." The only real equivalent over here in the West, I could see is 'what Trump would do often because Trump wasn't really as calculated,' she adds. "[Putin] definitely just has this kind of weird algorithm for kind of gas lighting and shifting reality," Lewis argues.
