The next move, what you do after the mistake, is what really defines a person. The bottom line with parenting is that you need a saviour. Even if you are an expert in child development and have a phd. You also have a story, which means that you have unaddressed wounds that are playing out in your parenting. And so you need the spirit of god to heal your children in the places where you have done harm. Jesus delights to heal our kids in the place where we have hurt them. Do you believe that?
