Is Pain a Bad Thing?
Pain must have existed before the fall because when the fall occurs, God says he'll multiply the woman's pain and childbirth. And I think guilt isn't necessarily bad. Guilt is moral pain and it tells me get out of that situation. It's going to hurt yourself. Physical pain also tells me that there needs to be limitation to my activity. If I don't do that, then the pain is increased and the pain is increase to stop the rebellious will. So I'm just not convinced it's pain is a bad thing.
