The nose produces a lot of mucus and you've got these fingertip-like projections, these tiny little hairs that are also helping capture this mucus. Interspersed with goblet cells, which produce mucus. And there's also within this region there's these kind of elaborate bony structures that look like seashells in a way. It is amazing because you take that breath in and it does spin turbinate that air.
