Language wasn't evolved to give us an ability to do science or study nature. It was evolved just for this kind of social bonding cohesion phenomenon, right? Well, yeah, that's my view. I think like people like Robin Dunbar, and many other kind of thinkers in the field of language evolution, believe that social interaction is a really important part of the story.
