The Confusion Over Who Is Missing
The Senegalese government disputes this whole version of events. It says that these people are no longer missing, and that in fact 260 people were found alive by the Moroccan authorities earlier in the month before the Spanish Coast Guard even started looking at this week. The aid group I mentioned, they disagree, and they say that these are not the same people. They say that according to data, information provided to them by the Morocco authorities, the 260 people who were found, they relate to different boats.
