On social media it's just we haven't yet evolved that response and I got into some trouble on Twitter recently for saying that we shouldn't cancel the cancelers we should make sure that they suffer some reputational cost. If you are always looking to defame people if you're always looking to fire people from their jobs that should have some reputation cost free. We need more understanding of people in groups mobs how a group becomes a mob, he says.
There is a lot of bad advice going around these days. If something bad happened to you, define yourself by your trauma. And if somebody inadvertently did something offensive, react as though they had intended to harm you.
