The Importance of Being a Film Critic
Sometimes your art can be very difficult to separate from the artists that you're studying. This reminds me of an article in the LA Times three years ago about disgraced celebrities and what do we do with their movies? They had insight in that article. When it's a writer or a director or someone who is behind the camera, most people don't even know who produced the movie. But when it's an actor who is in front of the camera, it becomes more difficult to separate the person from the roles that they play.
