Is There a Difference Between Distributive Justice and Criminal Justice?

I'm thinking about the way in which minorities are more than disproportionately part of the criminal justice system. I wonder if your model also has anything to say about distributive justice. So my more holistic approach would be to address the systemic causes of crimes, like wealth inequality and educational inequity. And then there's a social justice component that gets to the heart of your question,. Just like in public health, racism, sexism, systemic inequality affects the health of children - obesity rates much higher in poorer communities and in minority unities. We would have to ultimately address the causal roots of the criminal behaviour in the first place...and deal both with social justice and criminal justice simultaneously on my model.
