The Importance of a Good Book

J2EE was a way to build services on the server, you know, server side services in a more elegant way. The book resonated so much that people wanted to decode it and make it an open source thing. It's only like a red flag if you start writing a book about a technology and you get to the point where one code sample is 10 pages long. Maybe something's wrong here.
