CNN's John Sutter talks about his time as a phone solicitor in Texas. He says he used public records to find people who were buying newspaper subscriptions. His friends helped him look at marriage licenses and other information on residents of surrounding counties. "I did this massive direct mail camp when i was 16 and 17 years old," writes Sutter.
