The first time i did rangolt i did it in symphonic form, just concert form. But it was for the 20, twentieth, ond, 20 fifth anniversary of the montreal opera. A teacher of mine, caled anton copola, who passed away a few years ago, made very, very good reductions for about 30 operas of the standard repertory. Most recently in 19 20, 19 his reduction toska for north carolina raleigh opera. And he reduces the opera, opera to about forty, three, forty four players we used. That's fascinating to know that it can be presented that way. It sounds virtually like the original
