How to Get More Sleep Per Night to Support Heart Training

As the pineal gland ages, you release less melatonin through the night and sleep duration just naturally trends down. Children can very comfortably sleep nine to 10 hours per night. By the time someone's in their 70s or 80s, they don't have as much melatonin to keep them asleep and sedated anymore. Sleep extension is probably one of the best things people can do to support heart training.
