The Orpheus Symphony Orchestra is one of the most widely performed groups in the world. For each piece they decide to perform, they will select a different conductor and a different musical director from the orchestra. And so there is no permanent authority figure. It's like pirates, right? Pirates elected their captains. The social relations of pirate ships were much more along the lines of Nomad citizenship.
