There's nothing that reincarnates that we could call a cell for our personality and certainly Andrew Sweeney's going to die when I die. But there are patterns which repeat themselves, and so that's how I look at it. The point with the spiritual journey is to get out of the narcissistic loop that I am somehow more important than anything else. And that's what I call the trap of Western culture. That's the trap of Cartesianism. It goes on Plato to decart all the way to content finally, spinosa Hegel with help of spinosa breaks up with that in Western culture.
