I feel like the credit's not the issue. This is an interest rate risk problem. Banks give out way better information today than they did 15 years ago. We have to read either race capital to create confidence around those losses, or we simply have to wait. In the case of First Republic, it's impossible to wait. They need a solution and they need one very quickly.
