How Botox Works
Grownups get botulism because we eat the toxins. That are already made and they're in the food. The bacteria does not exist once it gets to our bodies. We kill the bacteria. Infants don't have the right immune system in their gut to fight off the bacteria. So if a baby ingest that bacteria, even if there's no toxins and what the baby ingest, it can set up shop and the baby's gut. And so the bacteria itself then becomes dangerous because it will produce the toxin Once it's in the baby's Gut,. And then the baby gets the botulism.
