The Biden White House and the Debt Crisis in the United States

There is a massive incentive on the part of Republicans to ham up their indignation and to go right down to the wire because it gives them publicity. Whereas it's very clear that the Biden White House is trying to take the heat out of this situation. The background noise, of course, is the fact that there is no debt crisis in the United States. It's an entirely manufactured crisis. So it's all theater. And the upshot of this is quite serious on a personal individual basis.
