The Threat of Spyware on Journalists
CNN's John Sutter looks at a controversial Israeli company called the NSO Group that says it developed a hacking tool. Pegasus has been used by governments around the world to spy on dissidents and journalists via their mobile phones. Once the phone has been compromised, everything on it can be viewed, including calls, texts, location and recorded materials.
