Donkey Kong is the grandfather of the current Donkey Kong or the father. He's Cranky Kong. If you play the Donkey Kong games, there's an old Donkey Kong who sits in the corner and grumbles. That's the Donkey Kong who stole Pauline. And Jump Man renamed Mario when they did Mario Brothers. This is where he became a plumber because Mario Brothers where the turtles and things show up.
