The Effects of Private Credit on the Financial System
The argument that it isn't that scary is mainly about who is holding the bag. Pension funds are supposed to be very sophisticated and have really good risk management in place. The fact that investors with money to lose are holding the bag at the end of the day, that makes me a little bit more sanguine about this than 2008.
