Tazcatlipoca - The Mirror Deity Par Excellence
Tazcatlipoca is said to have lost his right foot in a battle against an earth monster. He's often depicted with a prosthesis of gleaming obsidian that may sometimes resemble a serpent. His name means smoking mirror and he was associated with untamed space and night, author Gilliam Oliver says.
