What Kind of Message Does This Send to the International Community?
We also see many reports on social media of excesses being committed by the taliban, including bodies being hung from trucks. These are some enow pictured individuals we have seen on twitter coming out of of nanstan. We cannot employ standards which, however much we may want to, and just transplant them to afghanistan and expect them to flourish. That experiment clearly as not worked. The question is whether these excesses can be moderated by a process of engagement.
