i was very struck when alex was talking about taking power away from vested interests andin and putting it more in the hands of individuals, thand of communities. And that's what i'm thinking of, is the integration of health and social care expenditure in manchester. There is an exercise going on under the new tory government, investing the power to make sions on behalf of patients and service users in Manchester. But i think there's a key to make that work effectively, which brings me back to my view that you'll do that more effectively by introducing a bigger democratic voice into that collective decision making.
