In Moscow's Shadows

CHAPTER

The Life and Times of Maxime Formin

Ukrainian citizen Maxime Formin was in prison as a bank robber when essentially the state fell apart. He escaped from prison, made his way to the Donbas where he joined the Vostok battalion. From that point, he started as a fighter but rose because he realized there was perhaps a safer and more lucrative track to instead becoming a commentator. In that respect, clearly, he's very much affiliated with the Virginia Pragogen of Wagner in fame. And it is quite interesting that the café in which this attack took place, while he was addressing a meeting of the so-called Cyber Front Z, has been used by these kind of nationalist blowhards.
