The Importance of RSS in Podcasting
The best technologies are ones that just melt into the background and you don't have to think about them. I wonder sometimes if the whole if the RSS part isn't like this sort of like bizarre dance that one needs to do in order to get what they really want which is the content they want to listen to a podcast episode. The plumbing is all there but in order for the site to know or the the application this case to know about in this case the Thundercast it needed to know about the RSS feed. It's at like 90 percent the last 10 percent is like the discovery and smoothing that user flow so they don't haveto think about RSS.
