The Importance of Self-Producing

I feel like there's an overlap, but it is different. And I've stuck with a traditional publisher to primarily be, I mean, distribution's a lot better and the infrastructure. So that's what started to happen to me on the label was like being pushed into a sound and like even messaging that wasn't true to me. Like I'm not just trying to make money or be like, I would do something else. ... There are certain things that he wants to accomplish through creators in the world. And I want to tap into whatever he has ordained for me to make and not kind of like sacrifice that for money or a claim if that makes sense.
