"My parents just worked really hard in very blue collar, low wage, minimum wage jobs," she says. "I was shy as a kid, like where any adult ever tried to talk to me, I'd just run away or hide." Her family moved from Fresno back to the Bay Area and opened up their own restaurant called Olympic Burgers when she was six years old. They would let her stack the cheese crisscross style so it was easy for them to put on hamburger.
