Is Your Manager Super Hands Off?
At work you want to be doing things that have some sort of concrete result and have bigger motive than just your daily assignment. Every year our manager sets for us three major objectives and then our performance is evaluated based on if those tasks were completed. But the thing for us is my manager is really a hands off which is amazing. He's great but since I'm a structured person I need to keep track of my own progress on the side. And so what I did was we have monthly check ins but she wouldn't really ask me specifically like oh what did you do this month?
