The Dominican Rosary

Dominic founded the order officially in 1216 and died in 1221. The practice of praying the Psalter of the Blessed Virgin Mary is referred to by this Dominican historian brother John Demali. And then two years later in 1236, there was this community called the Beguines of Ghent, and they had Dominicans as their spiritual directors. There's another account from another Dominican monastery where nuns were doing the same practice.
