You cannot remain motivated in something that you don't enjoy, or whose end result doesn't appeal to you. So maybe it is that there is no real tangible benefit for you from reading books. I really enjoy the process of discovery. It's like going on a journey for me. That's why ove i've always been able to sustain that habit.
