Leidenbrock, a Man of a Spectacular Characteristic

The name of Leidenbrock was honorably mentioned in colleges and learned societies. Humphrey Davey, Humboldt, Captain Sir John Franklin, General Seibeen, ever failed to call upon him on their way through Humber. Mackerel, Ebelman, Brewster, DeMoss, Mill Nendwors, St. Clair de Vil frequently consulted him regarding the most difficult problems in chemistry. He lived in his own little house in Koenigstrasse, a structure half-brick and half-wood with a gable cut into steps.
