Is There a Humility in the Editors of the Bible?
Bible means library of course, but that they would tolerate opinions they might not hold. And I think you're right that there is a humility, or an, an awareness that all of these perspectives are significant to this community. So the individual group or individual person who's compiling all of the biblical stories into one text doesn't really have the authority to say this one is right and this one is wrong. And so they end up preserving all of it. As a result, we get the sort of mishmash of sort of information about God, and it becomes sort of us as interpreters to be pulling out the sort of coherence from this.
