Is There a Difference Between the Sugar and Saturated Fat Diet?

There was an increase in body weight of about one and a half kilograms during the high saturated fat diet. But liver fat, intra-hypartic triglycerides increased by 39%. And it didn't change, so there was no change in response to the sugar diet. This is congruent with what we've seen in other lines of evidence, both in over feeding and under energy balance,. That saturated fats have a particularly potent effect on increasing liver fat independent of body weight.
