What Should I Do With a Bleeding Patient?

In homotesis and sistic vibroses patients, the culprit vessel is usually the bronchial artery. The patient would need to be placed in a right lateral decubitous position so that gravity helps keep all the blood on the right side of the thorax. Positioning is also important in that it can minimize the involvement of the good lung. And we always put the bad lung down in bleeding patiencs.
