Sowing a Carrot in May, and You'll Plant It Out in October
There are certain plants that you wouldn't sow really before summer. Florence, fennel, sweet corn do very well froma july sowing and june sowing. A then there are other crops that you skip - for example, it does very well in cool weather so you sow that in january or February. And again, perhaps in march, although the march sowing has a very short window before it bolts. The march sowing, of course, which you'll plant out in may. So you've basically just got the month on may. And then you won't bother to sew it again until august. What you sew in august will go out
