There are many different ways to do that you can do lymphovina's bypass using microvascular nastomosis which is more technically challenging. You can also do re-approximation of the lymphatics with branches of the axillary vein and that's been shown by some to be very effective. There are trials that have recently been completed looking at this preventive strategy of doing axillary reverse mapping with different lymphatic reconstruction techniques but we need to wait for the data on that.
