There's this like gleeful narrative on twitter Francis Fukuyama and others today are tweeting that Russia collapse is not far away. If Russia were to collapse that would be one of the worst possible scenarios. Most people are able to see something that looks like a win within that domain without factoring how much that can actually be a loss in other domains yes. This is the problem of siloing and hyperspecialization in a radically interconnected world.
