Biostatistics and Bionphromatics - What Are the Main Topics?

Bia statistics, i think of as a general class of statistical methods applied to the study of biology. Now, bionphromatic is analysis of more large scale biological data. This is going to address challenges, particularly with genomic data and other multi omic data sets. And there are unique statistical questions, a multiple testing, adjusting for the volume of tests. For example, if you're running six million regressions, you're going to get a lot of false positives there if you're using a p value filter. So re concerns that are very specific to bionphermatics that aren't as critical in the general bio statistics framework.
