The Effects of Clamping on Cerebral Circulation in Pigs

Recent experiments in pigs found that when ECMO was initiated after induced cardiac arrest and an eight minute handoff period, so we're talking eight minutes. Some pigs who did not have clamping of the arteries did have restoration of cerebral circulation. In some cases, the return of spontaneous ventilation and motor activity.
