Henry and Ambuline and January

January is a very important month for Henry the 8th and Ambuline. They fell in love some point in the late 1520s, but it was impossible to get an annulment of their marriage. The Pope tried to forbid Henry from remarrying by threatening him with excommunication. So he had his men look at scriptural texts as well as looking at Parliament's acts of parliament. And they found a way out that stopped Catherine appealing to Rome against any jurisdiction made by Henry.
