"I don't actually, the dark energy model works as an actual source of life forever that's equivalent to the omega point," he says. Deutsch is really more taking the stance. This is just a problem to be solved. And maybe it'll be dark energy, maybe it will be a mega point. When you hear him in interviews, he doesn't actually rule the mega point entirely out. I think he almost had to in a book.
