Theocracy is a monarchy where monarch derives legitimacy from god, and then the monarch chooses to outsource decision making to an elected representative. Boly: Most of the time they are not very valuable, but in certain unforeseen circumstances they serve a function that you can't necessarily anticipate. You might also argue that if you have a very divided ry, they create a kind of arbitrary unity,. rather than fighting for country and a president you didn't vote for as a narrative.
