Eric Dyer is the perfect example of social media at its absolute worst. The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was snubbed for captaincy by Harry Kane. A Twitter user cropped a post that Eric Dyer did back in March they cropped it so you couldn't see the date and then it was Eric Dyer's dog talking to him or not talking to him but that would have been an amazing video. If anyone just scrolled down it was like the easiest thing to disprove of anything that's ever appeared on social mediayou just had to go down. It was this real indictment of how if people want to believe something about someone they will and it was incredible.
