How to Treat Acute Otitis With Seftin Near
The primary engine behind young children getting acute otitis media is a viral upper respiratory infection. In most pediatrics we say it's usually mostly viral anyway. There are some obviously some sort of wacky cases where you have special populations of patients that are at higher risk for things like certain viral infections. But in this distinction, I don't think there really is a role for anything like treating with antivirals or anything like that.
